ProjectManager
The ProjectManager takes care of the central management and data storage when working with Simona SmartTank.
All tasks such as calculations, verifications or plans are created in relation to the project. Each of the modules used in the project is illustrated by a chapter of the same name. The management of all positions, models or documents is system-related. This ensures that everyone involved in the project has access to the necessary information without tiresome searching.
Module Round Container
The intuitive, graphically appealing and interactive user interface enables the calculation of all round container types defined in the DVS data sheets. Your daily work in the performance of static calculations is facilitated and accelerated by innovative features such as graphic shot planning, automatic detection of the wind and snow-load zones on the basis of the post code of the project, or the integration of the SIMONA SIMCHEM database, to name just a few of the entirely new possibilities in the design of thermoplastic round containers.
Module Rectangle Container
Rectangular container calculation according to DVS 2205-05. The integration of FEM optimises the obsolete calculation assumptions of the data sheet and revolutionises the calculation of rectangular thermoplastic containers. The realistic FEM formulation of all-round reinforced containers and each steel component considerably optimises the use of the materials necessary for the construction of the container.
The clearly structured user interface thereby enables a genuinely very simply control of the program module and makes FEM less frightening.
Modul TwinwallSheet
The SIMONA® Twin-wall sheet module integrated within SmartTank 2.0 as an option is the only scientifically validated and officially verified tank calculation method for twin-wall sheets. The technical properties of the cross-ribbed SIMONA® Twin-wall sheets on which the calculation is based have been tested by TÜV Süd (German Technical Inspection Agency) and are subject to thirdparty monitoring.
Naturally SmartTank runs on Windows 7 or higher and the program features internal plausibility checks and validations. The multilingual output of the static calculation is verifiable, completely reproducible and integrates a large number of graphic elements.
